UML lawmaker detained for passport abuse

KATHMANDU, JUL 04 -

CPN-UML lawmaker Narad Muni Rana (Tharu) has been arrested from his residence on Monday on charge of abusing his diplomatic passport.

It is learnt that a police team from the Central Investigation Bureau took Rana under custody from his residence at Anamnagar in the Capital this morning.

Rana was elected into the Constituent Assembly (CA) under proportional representation.
